Bramhall Fireworks Festival is Friday 6 November, main display 8.45pm. Marple Bonfire is Saturday 7 November; Reddish Vale Farm runs 5 and 6 November.
Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November, and four displays in the Stockport borough have published their 2026 dates. Reddish Vale Farm runs a two-night fireworks festival on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November. The Bramhall Fireworks and Music Festival marks its 10th year at Stockport Rugby Club on Friday 6 November. The borough’s biggest community display, Marple Bonfire at Brabyns Park, is on Saturday 7 November, the same night as the Heald Green Scouts Bonfire.

The council does not organise or licence displays itself. Its fireworks page says: “We do not licence or organise firework displays or bonfires, but if we know about an event we’ll include them in our events calendar.” On 3 October that calendar, searched from 24 October to 8 November, listed one display: Heald Green’s.
Reddish Vale Farm, Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November
The farm on Reddish Vale Road (SK5 7HE) is running its own Vale Fire and Fireworks Festival on two nights. Its booking page sets out the schedule:
- Gates 5pm, with food, drink and live music
- Bonfire lit 6pm
- Pyrotex fireworks display, choreographed to music, 7pm
- Event closes 8pm
Around the display there are live fire performers, a giant bonfire, a live band, street food and hot drinks, a licensed bar, marshmallow toasting and the outdoor play area and jumping pillows. The farm is clear that the farmyard is closed on these evenings, with no animal activities.
Tickets come as adult, child, senior (65+) and a family ticket for four, and the listing is currently marked early bird. Prices sit inside the farm’s booking system rather than on the page, so we have not printed them. The farm’s terms say tickets are non-refundable, including on rainy days, a ticket is needed for every person in the group, and no dogs are allowed in the farm park. Carers can book a free Essential Companion ticket with a Nimbus Access Card or the farm’s Digital Access Pass showing the +1 symbol.
Marple Bonfire, Brabyns Park, Saturday 7 November
The Brabyns Park bonfire in Marple is run entirely by volunteers from 1st Marple Scout Group and Marple District Girlguiding, and all proceeds go to Scouting and Guiding in the town. Its 2026 event is on sale through the organisers’ Ticket Tailor page for Saturday 7 November, 6pm to 8.30pm, at Brabyns Park, SK6 5DT.
- Gates 6pm, with food stalls, mulled wine and a sweet stall
- Bonfire lighting procession 7pm
- Fireworks 7.30pm prompt, usually lasting about 20 minutes
- £9.50 adults (16+), £6 children aged 5 to 15, under-5s free but still ticketed, with no booking fee
The early bird tickets (£8 and £5.50) have already sold out. The organisers say the event is ticket-only with a strict number available, and “for the past three years we have sold out with no tickets being available on the door”. Buy in advance. The organisers’ FAQ rules out sparklers, personal fireworks, alcohol brought on site and dogs, and asks you to bring a torch because parts of the site are dark.
The organisers’ own home page still carries last year’s “SOLD out for 2025” notice under its buy button; the Ticket Tailor listing is the live one.
Heald Green Scouts Bonfire, Saturday 7 November
The 2nd Heald Green Scout Group holds its annual bonfire behind the Methodist Church on Brown Lane, at the 2nd Heald Green Scout Hut, SK8 3RR. Its listing gives gates 7pm, bonfire lit 7.30pm, fireworks 8pm, food stalls, mulled wine and sweets. Prices are £10 adults, £5 children, £25 for a family of four. Booking details are by email to 2hg@threebrooksscouts.org.uk.
Bramhall Fireworks and Music Festival, Friday 6 November
The festival is held at Stockport Rugby Club’s Memorial Ground on Headlands Road, Bramhall SK7 3AN, and 2026 is its 10th year. The club’s announcement, posted on 4 September, sets out the night:
- Gates 5pm, with a funfair, food court, bars and a main stage
- Children’s Disney display 7.15pm
- Main display 8.45pm, a fireworks-to-music “10 Year Best Bits” show that the TryBooking listing says lasts about 20 minutes
- Live music from The Devines and The Notice, Daisy Kate and DJ Darren Proctor, plus the Ignite Fire Dancers
The TryBooking listing runs 5pm to 10.30pm and prices tickets from £8.50 up to £130; the top end covers the VIP options, which the listing says include indoor seating, a VIP bar and toilets and a private viewing balcony. The club says tickets and parking are limited and advance booking is “highly recommended”.
Useful detail that will not change: the club’s own event notes say there is no parking on Headlands Road, Wallbank Road or Walmer Drive, and that on-site parking sells out well in advance. Walk in via the Wallbank Road or Headlands Road entrances.
The three club displays
Three cricket clubs ran their own bonfires in 2025: Bredbury St Mark’s on Dark Lane, Hawk Green in Marple, and Stockport Cricket Club at Cale Green. The only record we could find for any of them is Stockport Mumbler’s 2025 round-up, which put Bredbury St Mark’s on Saturday 1 November from 6pm at £6.85 an adult and £5.27 a child, Hawk Green on Saturday 8 November from 6pm, and left Stockport Cricket Club’s date as TBC at £8 and £4 with under-5s free, paid on the gate. None of the three appears in the council’s 2026 calendar, and none has published a 2026 date we can verify. Treat them as unconfirmed rather than cancelled.
Still to come
The three cricket clubs have published nothing we can verify. We check the organisers’ pages each week and will add each display here as it confirms.
Getting there and parking
Reddish Vale Farm is at the end of Reddish Vale Road, SK5 7HE, inside the country park.
For Marple, the organisers ask people to walk or take the train: Marple station is a two-minute walk from the main entrance on Brabyns Brow, opposite the Midland pub, and buses stop at the station too. There is no parking inside Brabyns Park on the night, and parking restrictions are enforced on surrounding roads. The nearest council car parks are Marple station (SK6 7DA, two minutes) and Memorial Park (SK6 6BD, five minutes), and both fill early.
Two side entrances exist, via the Iron Bridge and Rollins Wood, and via the railway bridge from Winnington Road and Grosvenor Road. Both are narrow unlit lanes, so bring a torch, and the Iron Bridge route closes off after 7pm.
Car park charges across the borough changed in 2026, so check our Stockport parking page before you set off, and our roadworks and travel page for anything closed on the night.
